Sinead is from Sligo and served her traineeship with us after joining the firm in November 2004.  Upon qualifying in 2008, she worked in the Medical Negligence and Litigation Department until 2012.

In 2013, Sinead took up a position as a Senior Solicitor in the Litigation Department of Holmes O’Malley Sexton in Limerick specialising in Personal Injuries and Medical Negligence cases.

In 2019, Sinead returned to Callan Tansey to join our Medical Negligence team and is based in our Sligo Office.  Sinead has extensive experience of acting for injured patients and their families.  Sinead represents clients throughout the country in the High Court, Circuit Court and Coroner’s Court.

Sinead was appointed Senior Associate to the firm in April, 2024.
