Elaine McBride was appointed financial controller with Callan Tansey in June 2013.

Originally from County Longford, Elaine graduated from University College Dublin with a Degree in International Commerce and completed her Institute of Chartered Accountants qualification with RSM Farrell Grant Sparks. She spent two years with the firm as an Audit Manager until 2010, when she became the financial controller with the Cara Pharmacy Group, a large chain of retail pharmacies. Elaine then moved into an outsourced financial controller role, consulting with legal firms across the North West.

She has since completed a diploma in Corporate Finance.

Elaine is currently Chairperson of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants. The society provides CPD and networking opportunities to members, as well as organising fundraising events on behalf of local charities.
