The High Court has approved a €1.9m settlement for a three-year-old girl who suffered cerebral palsy at birth. Milogros Martin, whose mother is Peruvian and whose father Ruairi is from Co Dublin, was born in December 2011, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.She is currently undergoing treatment in Chicago, which is also part of the settlement reached with the Health Service Executive.The Health Service Executive admitted liability in the case and settled for the €1.9m payment over the next three years.In the court today, an apology was read out on behalf of Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital.
