Callan Tansey Solicitors LLP continues to adhere to the Plan for Living with COVID. As all of Ireland moved to Level 5 of this plan at midnight on October 21st, we are altering how we deliver our services in accordance with Government directions.

From today, and for the next six weeks Callan Tansey Solicitors LLP will continue to support our clients from behind closed doors. Our team are working remotely and can be reached by telephone and on email.

Over the past couple of days our team has received several enquiries about how we are working within these latest Covid-19 restrictions and we would like to share those with you.

Are solicitors open?

Solicitors are considered an essential service, and as such, continue to work on behalf of their clients, but offices are not open to the public. Our team continues to work remotely, progressing clients’ files and receiving new instructions. So, despite not having physical offices open as usual, Callan Tansey Solicitors LLP has the technologies in place to enable the team to work securely from home. We put together a COVID-19 response team in March who have developed a strategy and plan for safe working arrangements for both clients and staff.

Can I contact my solicitor while the offices are closed to the public?

The switchboard at Callan Tansey is fully operational on 071 9162032 and able to take your calls as usual during office hours. You can also email your solicitor directly or through info@Callantansey.ie, and your email will be directed to the relevant person. As well as connecting by phone and email, solicitors are also arranging Zoom calls with clients, you can find out more Zoom Call Details here.

When will solicitors reopen?

At present the Government restrictions are in place until 1 December, 2020.

Further updates will be available here on our website and on our social media channels.
