First year anniversary in the Glasshouse Hotel

Friday 22nd May 2009, Callan Tansey Solicitors in Wine Street, Sligo is hosting its first anniversary party in the Glasshouse Hotel, Sligo one year after the merger of C. E. Callan & Company of Boyle, County Roscommon with Associates of Sligo. Callan Tansey, Wine Street, Sligo is now the largest law firm in Connacht employing 55 people from its offices in Boyle and Sligo and offers a full complement of legal services for both business and private clients including personal injuries, medical negligence, commercial and debt recovery, employment law, business, property, probate and estate planning.

Commenting on the challenge of the past year, managing partner, Christopher Callan said, The merger provided us with the opportunity to create new structures for the firm that would ensure flexibility and responsiveness to client and market issues. This allowed us to allocate the right resources to and build on the strengths of the new firm especially in key areas of litigation. It has certainly been a challenging and exciting year for everyone and we are grateful to have exceeded even our own expectations. This has been thanks to exceptional teamwork, partner leadership and a terrific contribution from our three new partners.
